The firmware should be PKF3 and the orange wire off the module to ignition 12v+ source. Make sure the sequence from the theft light and timing key turning might be off when you turn ignition on from first key. What model remote starter are you installing? Would it be an Audiovox piece?
If it is you will need to jump wire from 12v+ constant to ignition right after theft light goes out from second key being turned. You also have to ground the module brown wire at the same time. I have created a special relay pack for this issue.
Make sure if this doesn't work that the programming hasn't been locked out by the dealer.
The wire I'm test'n isn't doin' what it's supposed to be doin'... I am so glad I printed that tech sheet, with the wrong info.
Do it right the first time... or I might have to fix it for ya
