What amp for SC8264 Eclipse Components?

if price wasnt an option and you wanted the best sound i would have went with the premium 4 channel from eclipse to match the components perfectly. but, thats just me.

OR... Price being no option, (and as much as I love the Eclipse amps) the Zapco stuff is hard to beat. SQ is as good as Eclipse, and current capability and damping is better. WAY more expensive, and I don't think it's THAT much better, but you DID say price was no object. If ya got it, spend it. Can you return that amp? You might consider actually doing that, and using a better amplifier - the MTX stuff is pretty dirty, ESPECIALLY for highs... you have good components, don't they deserve good amplification?It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. Yup they deserve a much better amp and way more power to really bring them to life. 50w rms x 2, the speakers are still laughing at you.Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.
