i dont know about all the features and do dads on the new alpines but all the ones ive seen are harder to use than my 7894.   call me lazy but my 7894 is easy to use, sounds great, and dosent have a bunch of bells and whistles that i cant even figure out how to turn on let alone use.

Nothing beats the Alpine 3500 series.I have 3 amps older than many installers. You can not beat bi-polar outputs. The old DIN plugs tend to be a pain.Toshiba outputs have always been trouble free.I must admit the new Tri-path chips have mind bending sound.Take your money out of  Worst  Buy and invest in Tri-path.

Mos-fet,j-fet,v-fet,not in my car or home!Bi-polar rules, till Tri-path gets the bugs out.
