Hi i dont know what the heck is wrong with my alarm, i think te brain is fried. the door locks dont work, it wont remote start anymore, the factory arm and diosarm donbt work and the reception is horrible. i had to reprogram my remote to the system, and now i think of it i probablly have to program the bypass. anyways what im wondering is were can i get just a brain its the cm 3000

change the batteries in your 2-way?  after reprogramming do the lock/unlock functions work?  does the r/s work after the reprogram? did this happen all of a sudden?

Where did you have your compustar installed? Where was it purchased? If it was purchased from an authorized dealer, you can take it back and obtain a new brain through that person -- however, if you purchased it online, you're usually up a creek; and therefore the only real place to obtain a new brain would be online (Ebay) again -- they're usually $200 for the 2wss-as, but it comes with everything else (complete package).

sounds like you have some wiring problems to fry a brain dude. You check the fuses in the main harness of the cm-3000. Smell the brain to see if it smells like burnt computer toast. Then determin from there.
