Hi

I am installing a backup camera in a 2011 Honda Civic and need to tap into the reverse wire. The diagrams all say it is a brown wire in a light green 42 pin connector pin 15 @ the fuse box. Is this the right connector? when I tested the brown wire there it was +12V whether in reverse or not. Anyone connect the reverse wire in this area please let me know where it is.

Thanks,

Yes that is the correct plug
It could be one of 2 different colors depending if its a 2 door or 4 door.
Brown [4-door], Purple [2-door]
Either way its pin 15 in that 42 pin plug. Pin 15 should be on the top row to the right of a yellow Wire. Test...

Thank you Flobee. This is why I love the12volt.com. It was exactly where you said it was, to the right of a yellow wire on top!!

thanks again!
