What type of enclosure is this. Its in a 2000 camaro but i want to replicate it with 1 8in sub in the jack compartmenet of a c3 vette.  here is a pic of the sub box.  It is a sealed enclosure with a ported lid.  any advice on how to build a box like this is appriciated.  thanks

LOL! That's a twist on the BandPass Box I haven't seen in a LONG time. The how-to for it will depend on the subwoofer's specs (small/theile numbers). Which subwoofer were you planning on using?

If you don't mind my personal opinion, I would not make a box like this. BandPass boxes have another name where I am from. We call them Sub-Destroyers because if there is any distortions in the energy going into the subwoofer, you won't know about it until the subwoofer itself is dead. That's the double edged sword of the BandPass. It makes the music sound better (by filtering out noise), but potentially degrades the life of the subwoofer and possibly can feedback a short back into the amplifer.

I would recommend a ported box that fires to one side and and uses a beauty panel to hide the sub and port but still give the big "boom".
