Great input everyone.  Thanks for playing!  Interesting that there are no country fans represented yet...

Zip, nada, could care less. I'm around tunes all day long and the last thing I want to hear is more of it. Nothing like the whine of a turbo on the way home, that is music to my ears. If I were to have something in the cd player, it would be country FYI.
Top Secret, I can tell you but then my wife will kill me.

forbidden, it is funny how that works, isn't it. When I was programming I couldn't stand computers in my free time.
MrSector, Verve is one of the best labels around, imo. What are your other selections? Are they also Jazz related?

Dobb & Dumela - One Drop

Sheffield Tower of Power

Igor Krutoy ( Jazz Piano)

Steely Dan - Two against Nature

Candy Dulfer - Saxuality

Head East - Flat as a Pancake

I still listen to music in my ride, but as soon as i walk in the door at home i turn off the stereo if its playing.... i hear enough at the shop all day long.... (plus i hate my wifes taste in techno club dance music)

Wow, a blast from the past.  I used to know Roger Boyd in the early 70's before Head East was formed.  "Never Been Any Reason" is a great tune.
