Looks like a strong anchor. Nice and sturdy and should give off a nice bass tone. I myself like the flush Idea as well as my 4 10's are being flush mounted as we speak pretty much as well. Nice work. Hope it sounds as good as it looks.

Yes it is a matter of opinion, but you have to remembre that the MAIN reason for using fiberglass in the first place is to maximize air space and take a minimum of space(which in a TT is a premium). On smaller cars I personally prefer to go with the fluch mounted look as it doesn't impede on trunk space.

Question for thread maker: Did you use fiber weave for all layers? I can tell at least the top layer was done in weave, but what about the rest?

Also, from those pictures you have a bit more sanding/bondo to do. I can see a few gouges. Note this only applies if you're going to paint it. If you're going to carpet it then you're good to go

I did end up useing fiber weave for all the layers. Also i had a whole lot more sanding, took for ever, then i had to spot putty a couple spots, more sanding, sprayed the primer, primer sealer, then got the paint on and clear coat. what ya think....for a first time fibergalass job?
