Okay well you people have helped me out alot with this. Now I have a new problem..

Everything works fine with the unit. But if I lock the door with the remote and wait a while (over night) the doors will not unlock with the remote. But, If I use the keys to unlock the doors then open and close them the remote will then lock and unlock the doors just fine.

Why would this happen? I first thought it would be a connection some where that was not made good. I have ccheck everything as far as connections and being wired right. Could it be something with the factory alarm on it? If so how can I fix the problem?

CHEVROLET, IMPALA, 2002, Power Lock

Lock and unlock use the same wire. Lock requires a negative trigger with a 470 ohm resistor in-line. Unlock is negative trigger. Must use relays.

The BCM is located above the brake pedal. It is a plastic box with three plugs that face the firewall.

ORANGE / black wire in gray 24-pin plug @ BCM

I know all that.. I have it hooked up the right way. Just some times after locking the doors the unlock does not work with the remote. Only if I wait awhile (over night or something) it won't work.

i've run into a few "sleepers" like that on GM vehicles.... it's almost as if a circuit goes to sleep... if you press lock then unlock in the morning it works fine, but if unlock only then it wont unlock....

fit a door motor.

Okay here we go again. I have an 2002 Impala with the 562T remote start. 4 button remote. Lock, unlock, start, and AUX. I want the AUX button to open the truck. But I'm not understanding what wire(s) I need to work with on the unit. I know where the wires are on the car. Has anyone here hooked it up before? If so how would I go about it?

LT.BLUE is the ( - ) trunk release relay input and is found at pin-A2 on the gray 24-pin C2 connector...hook this up to the RED / white aux wire and off you go....

Well I done just like you said.. LT blue to the RED / white wire and nothing happen. I even tried the RED / white wire to the wires at the switch (Black, BLACK/ White)

So what now? Do I need a relay or something? Please help this is the last thing I need to hook up. I have the door locks working, Horn working with it, remote start works fine. I just need the truck to release now.
