Hey everyone I recently installed an avistart 4400 in a 2003 hummer h2 everything works great but one problem exactly 1 min 15 secs after the truck is started with the remote start the alarm goes off. I checked the shock sensor and thats not it i figured it might have a rough idle. I used the 457gw interface module and added 530t window module everything works great except for that one thing. The guy had a 2002 tahoe before with a prestige two way and he had the same problem with that one, the installer that did that install said that the unit was bad and replaced it. He stil had the problem. I was wondering if it's a gm thing or i'm just over looking something stupid that is obvious. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

The alarm led is flashing 3 times. I'll try the parking lights. Would there be anyway to hook them up so I wouldn't have of problem if it is them?

I used the dome light. I hooked it up right at the BCM. I got all of the wiring info from directechs.com.

I just checked directechs and I didnt see where they recommend that you use the dome light wire for the door trigger on that one you have to go into the door to get the wires . I think it sounds like it is most likely the door trigger . good luck on this one .

AT THIS TIME THERE ISNT AN OTHER WAY TO DUE THE PARKLITES, BUT WHEN U DO REMOTE START THE LITE SHOULD COME ON AUTOMATIC.  THE ALARM FALSES CAUSE THE PARKLITE ARE WIRED OEM ALARM SO WHEN U REMOTE START IT SEE THE PARKLITE ON AND SOUND THE ALARM. I HAVE A 2003 CTS CADDY RIGHT IN MY SHOP THAT DOES THE SAME THING BUT U DISCONNECT THE PARKLITE WIRE IT ALL WORKS GREAT

That is nice but if you read the post it said the AFTERMARKET ALARM/REMOTE START IS GOING OFF NOT THE FACTORY ALARM. Also he indicated the alarm is flashing the led 3 times at disarm and that indicates the door trigger is what set the alarm off.
YOU KNOW WHAT ELSE IS FUNNY IS THAT YOU ARE THE ONLY PERSON TO EVER SAY THAT WAS A PROBLEM WITH THE PARKING LIGHTS, MAYBE YOU SHOULD CHECK YOUR INSTALLS.
