Im installing an after market unit and I was wondering if anyone knows if a Metra TyTo01 adapter will work in this car. I have read multiple posts on Lexus forums and it seems it works for some people but not all. The ones who are having trouble with it dont seem to know much about installing so I was hoping an expert here might know. If not is there another harness I could use? Im doing this for free for my friend and I really dont want to have to bypass the factory amp.

Never used the harness you listed. Bypass the amp, it should by behind the glove box towards the kick panel. The harnesses you unplug from the amp are will fit a standard Toyota harness just have to run wires up to the dash. Should take you no more then 10 mins.
