Clifford Solaris in a '97 Grand Prix GTP

Hello all.  After 14 years of doing car audio, I am finally going to attempt my first alarm installation.  Anyway, I have the wiring diagrams for the alarm and car, but have a question, and I am sure I will have more as I tear into it.  

To get started, the Solaris says that its locking and unlocking outs both are + or - pulses, and my car's locking line uses a positive pulse and the unlocking line uses a negative pulse.  I can't help but to think that it isn't as easy as tapping the outs of the alarm into the lines of the car.  I am assuming the alarm can't automatically determine what the outs need to be, correct?  What do I need to do here?

The locks on your car are just positive, not 1 pos, 1 neg. And yes, the alarm will sense the resting voltage(+ or -) and pulse accordingly. The twist is this, the output wires from the alarm will reverse depending on whether the locks are + or -(wire will be lock for + and unlock if the sys is -). Identify the target wires and tap into them. . .nothin special.
