I am trying to hook up a DEI 369 D to the rear window release of my 91 Olds Bravada.  I found the diagram and instructions for wiring the relay on this site, but it isnt working for me.  Anyone have an ideas?  I found another link/diagram from a topic in this forum, which says to wire 12V+ to 85 and 30, while the diagram from this site says, 86 and 30.

Any help is appreciated.

Stony

Trunk Release:
   BROWN
(+) REAR WINDOW RELEASE SWITCH
86 12v
85 ground
30 to release wire above
87 to 12v
if the trunk release wire coming from the alarm is a neg. output, that wire will go to pin 85 as the ground wire.....
Good Luck

Thanks, that did it, the solenoid pops slower than with the dash switch, but it works.

I just bought the truck during the winter, and the rear window does not open with the key.  The only way to release it was to press the switch from inside.
