Does anyone know where exactly is the IAT (intake air temperature) locate in an 97 Accord? Also, does changing the load (add a resistor) of the IAT help increase the output performance of the car?

First, it is in the intake, hence intake air temp sensor. Second, that whole deal is pretty much a scam and doesn't really do anything. If you want to increase the performance of the car then YOU should take it to someone to do anything, sorry but it doesn't sound like you know anything about the engine in the car.

colder air in your engine makes more power, telling your car that colder air is there wouldn't do much.

Try getting someone to make you a cold air intake that will run down to the front of the car. I had a friend lose a fog light and put his intake inlet right there.

Installing a resistor in place of the IAT makes the computer think that the air is colder (at a fixed temp).

Colder air = more fuel (the injectors pulse width is widened introducing more fuel to the engine)

Some people think that there is an increase in HP, but I don't think it's enough to have an decrease in fuel milage.

As above: Get a "cold" air intake, not one of those that just sucks air from the engine compartment.
