I need help on how to hook up my remote car starter. I have this http://www.ultrastarters.com/Html/2250.html model and I had it installed already but the installer guy said that he need some questions to the technical support but It's been almost 2weeks already and I haven't hear from him yet. He installed the system(alarm/CPU)but he didn't hook up the remote start. My question is can I do it myself? How? Can anybody help me with this 'cause I want it to be hooked up already. I got a 1993 Acura VIgor GS(Manual Transmission). I'm using just the alarm right now and the door lock & unlock.

The problem is that he put the wrong unit into your vehicle Remote car starter Help!!! - Last Post -- posted image.. You should have gooten the 2250M ( unless that is the unit that the installer got you ?? ) If so then to do the starter is simple. You only have about 4-5 more wires to hook up and your done + programming. Here are the wires that you still need to hook up:

  • |          STARTER|BLACK/ white         |+  |ignition harness            |
  • |  SECOND IGNITION|yellow              |+  |ignition harness            |
    |        ACCESSORY|WHITE/ black *1      |+  |ignition harness            |
    |        HOOD PIN|yellow/red          |-  |theft module *4             |
    |FCTRY ALRM DISARM|GREEN/ black         |-  |lrg harness left of fuse box|
    |       TACHOMETER|blue                |   |ignition coil or *2         |
    |       BRAKE WIRE|GREEN / WHITE         |+  |brake switch                |
  • * 2 The tach test connector is located on the right side of the engine compartment.    *4 The anti theft module is located behind the glove box behind all other modules closest to the fire wall.
