I have shorted the speaker leads out on this cd player and it has gone it to protect mode like an amp and just displays "HEAT" on the screen (i guess it means overheating). how do you reset them to take the CD Player out of that? i cannot find any reset buttons on the Cd player.

Can anyone help or have a guess on how i can get it working again?

i have already tried all possible things like disconnecting the power etc but still cant do it

Thanks, Richard

Rich, how long did you leave it disconnected?  I'd leave it disconnected for a couple of hours and try again.
My ex once told me I have a perfect face for radio.
