Hi ,i have a 05 sante fe to do and was looking for some input as to security etc.I understand it has a transponder and an alarm. the transponder is no problem ,but the few posts here are not really clear on disarming the alarm.
it appears to disarm with keyless entry only.does the remote work ok and you have to unlock doors with key fob so alarm doesn't sound .How difficult are the locks to access?Any and all info would be appreciated.
Thanks Bruce

There is a pink/black wire in the sill panel at the bottom of the driver's side door opening. Use a short negative pulse to disarm the factory alarm. a double pulse will disarm and unlock the doors. There is a 22 pin plug in the driver's kick panel with the lock and unlock wires in it. Lock is a yellow wire and unlock is a WHITE/ black wire. They require a negative pulse to activate.
