I have a 02 ls and I've been thinking about about building a box ported through the rear deck. thats about as far as I got though. I have the wood but not the subs. I did a lot of other mods so the system may be my next project. we should keep each other updated on this. I'm on cardomain /id/danh0ward my email is on there. laaaateDan Howard

I had an 02 and an 04 LS. I found the fact that the trunk hinges go into the trunk make is extremely difficult to do anything with it (note: I'm not a pro). In any case, I just had a box with a single 10" sub ported through the rear deck and next to it were my amps. This gave me just enough room to keep the spare in an easy to access manner.. not that I ever used the spare, but the idea was good. In any case, good luck. I have seen a couple jobs done in LS's (sounddomain.com stuff)... which looked alright, but nothing reaaall fancy. If you figure something out, I'm definately interested. Oh, and just an idea I had, you could do the trunk lid thing for the amp rack... and I complemplated putting a 10" sub into the passanger's side quarter panel, which seemed to be deep enough.. and back of the book calculations means I would have had 1.25cuft, but you can get subs that don't need such a large space, either.

isa, tell me more about the setup you had. was it band pass or just ported? if just ported, what way did you face the sub? and the big one, did it sound good? ThanksDan Howard
