Hi,

I have a 1997 Pontiac Grand AM with a Clifford RSX3.5. It has been installed for about a year and a half now.  Lately, it has been starting on its own.  My remote will be sitting next to me and I will hear my car start then the remote beeps as it does when I press the buttons to start it remotely.  Not sure what could be causing this.  Malfunction in the system? I also have heard of garage door openers starting cars.  Anyone else with this problem? Any help would be great! Thanks.

is it programmed for 2 presses or 1?      transmitter button wear could be the problem if programmed for 1 press only...

check to see if its programmed for auto run @ a certain time. Not sure if u have the temperature sensor installed, but i think that unit is capable of starting once it reaches certain temperatures.
