carvox cx2300a not starting

we had already sent out the brain to get replaced because it didnt seem right... I am heading back to try the new brain today and I'll work the sequence and see what happens. If it still doesnt work, then we're gonna go with a good ole' compustar instead. Kenny

gave it another go today, and this time I couldnt even get the remotes to program.. lol. They sent the new brain with 2 new, unprogrammed remotes, and as soon as I put it in, it set off the alarm. So I manually disarmed it (turn ign on, press valet button 5 times). It would disarm, but as soon as I turn the key off then back on to program the remotes, the alarm would start going off again. it would not remain disarmed. No matter what I did, it would not stay disarmed. Even when I unplugged the 4 pin harness between the the brain and remote start relay pack, it would still trigger the alarm when I turned the key on... which made no sense to me since it had no way of knowing the ignition was turned on. So we gave up, she is going to try to get her money back and we are just going to put in a reliable compustar. Good luck to anyone who ever gets one... hopefully you will have more luck than I did.Kenny
