hey whats up guys, im pretty new to the site and in my sixth year installing. i'll get rite into it.  im adding a 4 channel and 2 channel amp,10 fared capacitor in a 2005 corvette that is equipped with factory bose navigation .trouble is im not sure where to tap for signal to interface with my 3sixty.1 processor. it sounds like the factory subs in the doors handle ALL of the bass too. also where can i find the amp turn on and is it even powerfull enough to power two amps a cap and the processor. if not that then where should i tap acc? i know its kind of alot but i read some of the other topics and you guys rock, so any info would be awesome.  thanks

the amp turn on for that vehicle i believe is data and cannot be used to turn on anything other that the bose amp. for your acc you should be able to grab it off the ign harness. to get signal into your 3sixty you should be able to take the speaker outputs from the bose amp and send them straight into your processor. and then from there just wire up your amps normally.

thats what i figured. the problem with tapping acc at the ign harness is that this vehicle is a push button start and i havn't tapped one before in a chevrolet. do you think it could be under the pass floor board? i am going to test under there too just for kicks. what my major concern is about the 3sixty is that i think the  bose amp has the frequencies cut off at mid bass level for protection of the oem midrange/tweeters. then allowing the ten inch subs in the doors handle all the low end bass. i performed a simple fade to front and rear test and i could still  hear  bass coming from the doors even though it was set to the rear. appreciate the response, thanks...

You're correct that the Bose system cuts the bass out of the front and rear mid/highs, and sends the info to the factory subs.  I'm unfamiliar with the 3sixty.1 but I know the JL Cleansweeps I use have a "summing" interface that takes three different speaker inputs and sums them  to give you a flat frequency response across the entire audio spectrum.

Keep in mind that the frequency repsonse of the Bose system changes as the volume changes.  As you increase the volume, the bass "peaks" at about three quarter volume and doesn' t increase anymore, even though the mids/tweets continue to get louder.

your ign wire should be in the passenger footwell its a pink wire in a gray plug. and like megaman said about summing the 3sixty does have summing capabilities so you should be alright.

good luck
