i have a 95 grand cherokee 4.0 and i would like to know what type of lock system weather its central or reverse polarity etc.  Because on my alarm the doors will lock but they will not unlock with the remote.

It uses a positive trigger relay driven system.

I have it connected from the alarm one wire to lock trigger the other to a 12volt source and for unlock one wire to trigger and the other to a 12volt source but yet the remote will not unlock the doors. could there be another problem? the power lock and unlock works fine in the car

Yep, that how you would test it. i would test it just to be sure its the right wire you are trying to interface with.

the jeep cherokee uses a very strange door lock setup. im gonna look some stuff up but i know the last one i did required 2 DLS relay packs. so 4 relays in total. i believe it is a dual reversal rest at ground. ill post back soon. I just remember the last one i did used alot of relays. lol
