I installed 2 DEI-530t window modules on my 2009 Honda Civic Si Sedan. I ran wires into each door to make sure I was interfacing with the wires between the module and the window motor ("one-touch" operation was desired). The passenger and both rear windows work correctly; one-touch, vent, roll-down, roll-up (arming security system). The vent, roll-down, and roll-up features for the driver's window work but the problem is the driver's window operation from the switch. This vehicle has the type A windows (described in the manual), up (yellow) and down (green) wires rest at ground and 12V is applied for movement. When you press the down button the window rolls down but after that you cannot roll the window up with the up button (only way seems to be when you hold not press the down button to roll the window up). I have used a multimeter and realized that when you first roll the window down, the switch wire back to the 530t continues to see 12V and does not go to ground when the window reaches down, that is why you can only bring it up by holding the down button. I have had this working on my previous 2006 Honda Civic Si Coupe and now I cannot seem to figure out the issue with the new civic and the drivers window. I have checked all wiring, grounds, power, and swapped modules. It would be greatly appreciated if anyone could provide some advice on a possible solution or shed some light on the issue.

i see no one's replied as yet, maybe i could kick of things for ya, i'm assuming the driver's door is the only door with factory one touch down, maybe it has something to do with this, try reconnecting the driver door wires to see if it functions as it originally was, and post back.

Sorry I wasn't loking at this one. your wire at the switch might be seeing 12volts but it's low current and the 530 has to see a load. Ignore the switch and go directly to the wires at the motor. This also applies to the passenger door if you want one touch from the passenger switch.

Sorry, you can NOT post a reply.
