I did a remote start alarm to an 03 Acura TL and everyting is fine the only thing is that every time the car is remote started the factory alarm is triggered. I never wired the key sense so i was wondering if that is the issue or should i wire up the wire that says disarm no unlock.

This car was kinda annoying when I worked on it, but Thack79 is right you have to go into the door for the factory disarm wire.

The TL's a rebadged Accord. Shouldn't be any need to go into the door.

Keysense won't help you; that's mostly for Toyotas.

Go back to the main page and scroll down a little bit, just a few days ago there was a post about a 2002 Accord EX...it should have all the information you need.

so there is no way to get that wire any other way then threw the door im trying to avoid taking the door apart and having to run a wire that way

Did you already read the recent post about the 2002 Accord EX?

i cant find the post i went as far back as october however i looked at the forum at honda 2002 and they said to go to the door unless its an LX would an LX be the same.

I just did a compustar in one of these, had the same problem. there is a disarm wire in the door but the if it has factory keyless the unlock signal through the door locks will also disarm it. I set it up so it would pulse unlock before remote start and relock after and it hasnt been a problem since.

There used to be LOTS of posts about this same issue but they seem to have disappeared. I couldn't find much of anything using the search feature, either.

Anyway, I've always done those cars at the passenger fuse box with no trouble.
