I got the vehicle with the PS-2760 installed but the remote was missing. So I bought the original  remote and tried to program it. I flushed the hood pin by following the procedure to put the module into the programing mode (hold pin  for 4 ceconds, parking lights on, then press pin again, lights blink and on again). So the parking lights should be on for 20 seconds but mine are on for no more than 5 seconds and then it shuts off. So it looks like I have no time to program the remote. Is something wrong with this module or am I doing something wrong? I found few topics about Polarstart programming but nothing about this model and it never helps.

I would really appreciate if someone explains me how to program it step-by-step. Thanks guys.

Chances are they hood pin is loosing ground within 5 seconds. What I usually do in this case is to unplug the wire going to the hoodpin switch and attach it to ground like the instructions say. This way you know that there's ground on the wire and will allow you to program the remote in the time you need.
