Seven flashes means Manual Mode Error.  Does the Viper enter into reservation mode properly?

For manual transmission mode to work, you need :

1. Viper must be programmed for Engine Checking = Tach Mode.

2. Tach Input wire must be connected to a valid Tach source.
3. Viper must be Tach Learned successfully.

4. Door pins must be connected and working.

5. EBrake (-) signal wired to Neutral Safety switch input.
6. Brake (+) must be connected & working.

After replacing the Viper brain, did you program for Tach mode and do a Tach

learn?

Soldering is fun!
