viper 5704 mts procedure shutdown problem

Hi guys, I have a Viper 5704 installed in a 2006 Ford Mustang GT (manual transmission). I got it to learn tach, and fire up Remote start in automatic transmission mode, however, I am having a problem in MTS mode. This is what happens:
1. I start the car
2. I Press the foot brake
3. Pull E-brake
4. Release Foot brake
5. Press lock or any key on remote.
6. My dash and parking lights blink 5 times to indicate that I am in mts mode.
7. My remote says remote start on.
8. Then shortly after, whether I get outside the car or not, My control center blinks five times slowly and the 'remote start on' on the viper remote turns off and the engine shuts off, without me having to exit vehicle and arm system.
I have no idea why this is happening, I have the foot brake, e brake, tach signal wire, netural safety toggle switch all correctly connected. Also the door triggers connected to my dome lamp which is delayed, however, I turned of Door chirp error in the programming menu. Any ideas of how to fix? Also i am assuming that maybe I would have to connect the H2/21 WHITE/ Blue (-) Remote Start/ Turbo timer activation input (is this wire necessary for MTS mode, my car starts fine in auto trans mode).

I believe the MTS ready procedure is -
while the engine is running, press foot brake, pull e-brake, release foot brake, remote start the car via the Viper remote, then exit the vehicle, close the door and hit lock. The engine will shut off telling you it's in MTS ready mode.
Also, if the door trigger wire from the Viper is connected to the dome light, do they come on at all during the "ready mode" process? If so, that may be confusing the Viper into thinking you have exited the vehicle before you have.

Thats the problem, The engine shuts off shortly after the 5 blinks indicating MTS mode. It shuts off before I even exit and arm the vehicle. Does the Remote start/ turbo timer activation input wire need to be pulse grounded or connected at all for mts mode to work?

The turbo timer input wire is only needed if you have a turbocharger that needs to spin down to cool off. Usually that wire isn't used. In your case, that wire isn't needed for the MTS ready mode to work.

Manual Transmission Start (MTS mode)
When installed into a manual transmission vehicle, the system requires
that the MTS mode is properly set when parking. If MTS mode is not
properly set or is defeated after being properly set the system will not
start the engine.
1. With the engine running, set the parking brake and leave the
engine running. For Pit Stop or Turbo Timer mode (to leave the
engine running after arming), open the driver door.
2. Release the foot brake (if pressed during Step 1), or press and
release the foot brake anytime. As long as the engine is running
there is no time limit to perform this step.
3. Within 20 seconds of foot brake release, press any command
button on the remote, after 20 seconds return to Step 2 (For Turbo
Timer Mode, press the optional dash mounted activation button
or send the Timer Mode command.
4. The parking lights flash 5 times to confirm MTS mode enable and
the remote start activates the ignition outputs. The Remote Start
LED and On tones play to confirm.
5. Turn Off and remove the key from the ignition switch, the engine
remains running.
6. Exit the vehicle, close all the doors and arm the system.
7. The engine turns off and after a few seconds, the Remote Start
LED and Off tones play to confirm. If the door is opened in Step
3 then the engine continues to run.
On Step 4, the car performs 5 flash once, indicates that remote start is on, the it performs an additional 5 flashes then turns off remote start, I don't even get to complete steps 5-7 to get into MTS Mode.

Verify door trigger wiring for the right wire and polarity of and to it.

I verified the door triggers and all other aspects of the alarm. I think I found the problem, the tach input has been hooked up to the negative side of coil from piston #8. I tested this on AC and voltage did not fluctuate with throttle response. The car does not stay running in tach mode in MTS or Automatic Trans mode. I even learned tach procedure. Right now im running the car on auto trans with voltage sensing. Idk why tach mode will not work. I heard that you cannot pull a tach signal from these cars without a tach adapter, is this true?
