I am a newbee to car  audio and I would love to complete my system without professional help.  I have posted a help request on various other audio websites and I always get back the same type of general (captain obvious) responses.  I understand how everything works and is supposed to go together but I need someone(s) help in giving me a step by step.  Here is what I have and how it is hooked up.... 1999 suburban LT, with onstar capability(wired for a phone w/ a phone in the center floor console.) eclipse 3422 cd head unit, eclipse in dash 6 disk changer, eclipse equalizer (smaller one) mounted in center console, lanzar vibe mofset 250 amplifier, tsunami 440db 4 channel, ppi 2240 amplifiers, rockford fosgate 1.0 capacitor, he 2 dual voice 12" woofer in sealed q-logic box. 2 - 10 inch rockford fosgate speakers in box (sealed), phillips dvd player, audiovox vcr, performance teknique 7" lcd overhead flip-down monitor, 5" headrest monitor, stinger power distribution block and 2 tweeters mounted in center floor console, and 16 other stock speakers,  I am having difficulty ditributing the speaker outputs(from what amp to what speakers?) wiring on the overhead monitor( I wired to the old overhead dome lights wiring and it worked initially then blew afuse that took out all interior lights the power mirrors (do I need a relay, if so how to? I need a complete step by step)  Is there any competent links to sites that can help or just post reply.  To all you fellows that are married..my truck is apart for 2 weeks and my wife is nagging constantly...HELP!

Might want to try your post in the mobile video forum as well.

About the speakers....are you using the stock speakers with one of the aftermarket amplifiers?  Or the stock speakers with the eclipse's built-in amplifier?  Sorry I'm just kinda confused as to what you mean by "I am having difficulty ditributing the speaker outputs(from what amp to what speakers?)"...

At the beginning of your post you said "here is what i have and how it is hooked up" so I got the impression that all this stuff (including the amplifiers) was already installed.  What exactly is or isn't installed in the vehicle?

Sorry, I was a little rushed  when I posted.  I started with the eclipse 3422 head unit, lanzar amp, and the 12" He2. That single 12" in a q-logic sealed box had some serious early bass. I bridged the power so it was pushing 800 watts or so, but it  had a glass chin so to speak and I knew I had to get a capacitor.  The head unit pushed the front and second door speakers (4- 5 1/2" and 2 tweeters) the back 4x10's were blown.  since then I added the in dash changer(eclipse).  Had that hooked up worked great!  Bought the tsunami 440db 4 channel amp, the PPI2240(great amp), the phillips dvd player, the audiovox vcr out of my aunts limo, bought the eclipse eq, bought the performance teknique tft 7" and the 5" flat headrest monitor.  Nothing is hooked up now, I tried to add the overhead tv and I hooked into the old dome light wires and the light worked on the tv at first but then I blew a fuse and my power mirrors and my interior lights are not working.  I want to run the fosgate 12" HE2 and the 2 10" fosgate woofers in the same enclosure(Is that possible even thought they aren't the same series?)  Which amp(s) should I use to power the woofers, should they be wired in series or parallel or bridged mono? should I use the eclipse power maybe only for the front speakers and tweeters. I have all the wires routed appropriatly and the rca's routed to the eq.  Do I need a relay. If so how to ?  Can I run my capacitor (fosgate 1.0) to all the sub's (or 2 of the amps.)  How do I wire the overhead tv it only has 2 wires (a dinplug and another splicable wire(dome lights?) I believe the din plug has the power in it.  Or is the wire the ground it is black.  Do I just use a rf adapter to split the signal to the 2 tv's?  I know it is alot but any help would be greatly apprieciated...Dirk
