{ Hopefully this is in the right place.}
Hi all! So I have a 2024 Integra Aspec with a 6 speed manual transmission that I'm trying to put a remote start in. The remote start is an Evo one and I do have the the fortin flashlink. I have the install sheet #102701 completed. So wiring is hooked up, unit is programmed and key is cryptored. I bought the unit off of Amazon and when I tried calling Fortin for help, I got all the way to telling I have a manual transmission and he sad he couldn't help me anymore. I have to call amazon and they are not very helpful either. So I cant get the key fob to start my car, I know that its programmed because the fortin tech had looked it up and said it was plus I verified it by putting it in valet mode. I did the whole idle mode and ready mode to prepare for the next time to remote start it but every time it shutdown. I hold the start/stop button for 3 seconds per the instructions and it just shuts off. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I've never done this car but in reading the install guide says you need the door closed to start the sequence for remote start. Are you trying this with any of the doors or hood open ?

No everything is closed. It keeps telling me that I'm doing the start sequence wrong, so I'm not sure how to troubleshoot that

If you can't get it to work you might try Idatalink. Idatalink has manual transmission listed as supported:
https://www.idatalink.com/search/search?vehicle_make_id=1&vehicle_year_id=2024&vehicle_model_id=332&vehicle_id=38176
Create a user account and get a flash cable.
You could use a Compustar system with a Blade cartridge. Something like this would work:

Also I was thinking about cars from the past that were manual, once I had the remote start installed I did not have to push the clutch petal in to start, this new Integra I have to still push the petal in to start so maybe that is my problem. I found the wire that I was suppose to hook up to but instead of one pink wire, there was two pink wires. How would I test that with a meter if possible? I'm looking in to the links right now that you sent me, thanks.

The clutch wire will show a ground only when the clutch pedal is pressed.

Thanks for the info. I couldn't get it to work and Fortin is no help so I'm gonna go with the idata one you sent me cause it seems more legit.
