need help for 98 honda civic door locks

Can anyone help me with this .......I installed a radio in my friends car (98 honda civic) when i took out his factory head unit and installed the new aftermarket radio that worked out fine . Except the door locks he's not able to use his factory keyless entry function. Does anyone have a solution for my problem?????need help for 98 honda civic door locks -- posted image.

You have to leave the factory radio hooked up behind the dash. The keyless entry is built into the radio. Check out this link for a how to. http://www.installdr.com/InstallDocs/Honda/PDF/466013.pdf You will need Adobe Acrobat reader to read it. If you don't have it get it free at www.adobe.com  Good Luck.

There's another way of doing this without having to buy all thse extra harnesses and having to keep the OEM radio in the dash. ** THIS IS WHAT I WAS TOLD BY A HONDA TECHNICIAN FRIEND ON MINE *** I have not had the opportunity to try this on a Civic with OEM keyless entry. There is a BLACK or BLUE ( Can't remember )wire in the harness that needs to see ground as this is the GROUND LOOP for the OEM keyless entry system. If this wire sees no ground. the keyless entry does not work.
