Amp Size

I am getting 2 Mis Bass 5 1/4" Speakers 200w RMS, 2 ABF 6x9" 3 Way Speakers 250w RMS & 2 25mm Titanium Dome Tweeters 100w RMS for my setup.  What size amp would you recommend to run this and what OHM should I run at?

First of all, I assume all the speakers you are buying are 4-ohms?  Then your amp will "run at" 4-ohms.  Ohm loading depends on the speakers, not the amp.

Second, are you planning to set up the mid-bass and tweeters as a component set in the front of the car?  Do you have a proper 2-way passive crossover for them?  Do they match (are they from the same manufacturer or at least do they  have similar timbre?)

Assuming the RMS ratings on the speakers is accurate and you are not actually quoting peak ratings, get a good 4-channel amp that is rated at 150 to 200 watts RMS per channel.  Run the 6X9s off 2 channels and the mid-bass/tweet sets with proper crossovers off the other two.

Crossovers with all the speakers?  What do you mean.

The midbass and tweets should be used together with a passive crossover between them.  Like this, at the very least:

OR you could get a good crossover like the Audio Control 6XS and a 6-channel amp (or a four channel for the mids and 6X9s and a second stereo amp for the tweets) and use all electronic crossovers before the amps.  It depends on how you'd like to set it up.

And don't take this the wrong way please, but if all of this is new to you, then I suggest you get some help from a professional install shop in your area.  The best way to learn is by being taught.

ALot of it is new to me and I am here to learn as much as I can.  I have a few friends that are good with this kind of stuff who will be helping me too.  i am just trying to make a shopping list for what I should be getting when I do.

The main reason I was thinking of staying with Audiobahn is because the subs I currently have, they really take a pounding and I have had no problems with them.  Here is a list I came up with but if you can suggest something better, let me know.
