JL 10 or 12 W6 ?

Personally I've played with the w6v2 series, installed a pair in a Lancer. The w6's are basically a small verson of the w7, they have simular motor structures and a very simular cone design etc. They are however completely different as the w7 uses newer and more revolutionary technology to make its performance as good as it is. Anyway, if u can get a pair of these, I would say go for it. The MTX 8000 will bang, and they will bang hard, I've heard more than my share of them, but they get really boomy at higher volumes, the w6's tend to maintain their clear bass at higher volumes better than almost any sub under the w7 mark.
