’00 Protege Door Lock problem

Hey, This is my first post here, but I need some help.

I was removing the front speaker's from a friend's '00 Mazda Protege because they werent the right size and she decided she wanted to get the right sized speakers and after I was done and put the doors back together I tested the door locks and they wouldnt really lock or unlock anymore...  This only happened to the front 2 doors that I was working on.  Another thing is she was already having this problem with the rear passenger side door, so I dont know if the factory actuators are bad or if it was something that I did.  So now she only has 1 door lock that works.  Also it doesnt matter if you use the keyless entry remote or push the door lock itself, it still doesnt work. If any of you have any suggestions or help or any information at all, I would greatly appreciate it.

Also if anybody has any idea how much it would cost to replace the actuators themselves that would help too...

Likely the ground path is missing so if you test both motor wires (red and RED / blk) you will get a positive pulse on BOTH wires, the ground wire is in the Left kick panel and this is basically pin 87a on the internal door lock relay which make the lock wires rest at ground until operated. Just check the left kick panel ground and if the failing lock in the rear was the farthest (right rear) the ground was likely loose and you being in the kick panel likely inadvertantly disconnected or loosened it further.
