Installed a remote starter in the Z28 & had problems with the security system so i removed it & resoldered all conections , Now i can not get the car to start at all . is there an easy way to reprogram the keys to the car or must it be taken to a dealer Thanks

The car has VATS correct? The little resistor in the shaft of the key. There is nothing to program.

Does it crank?

What does the "Security" light on the dash do when you try to start it?

Hi The starter does not crank , The securty comes on & stays on for about 3 mins & it does have Vats ??? Have tryed disconneting the battery for 10 minutes , Leaving the key in the ignition both on & off for 10 mins but nothing happens ???

Hi I think i found the problem ,must be a bad wire at the ignition switch. Soldered in a resistor in the vats wires & now it starts (Alright) Thanks again
