What exactly R U Installing??
If just Keyless Entry, then U do NOT need Combo unit.
If Remote Start / Keyless Entry, then U should use Combo unit
Don't get me wrong..........U do NOT need either to complete install of RS or KE, but it sure is easier (and maybe cheaper, for someone that does not install everyday) on the install

I'll be installing the pheonix digital pd-175. My car has the factory keyless entry on it. i am going to install alarm, remote start, keyless entry, trunk release. and the accessory wire for the ac/heat (which remote start run ac/heat for then minutes). the unit is one of those two way fm alarms bought from asianwolf.

regards

O.K.
U should use Combo DATABuss Interface that does the whole enchilada........
Easy hook up (if U can follow instructions ) and 1 wire that hooks to your Purple wire on the OBDII plug under dash, which will control all functions via DATA

As in previous post:
Velocity Motors

We sell the MULTIDL for the 1999-2004 Grand Am for $ 65. USD shipped. Easy to install and great system to work with as far as programming goes.
