I have a 04 silverado and I was thinking about putting in 2 10w3v2's and run them off of a 500/1 jl amp? My question is , lately I have been thinking about going with 10w6v2's and a 500/1 for each. But I will probably only do one at a time if I go that route. So anyways is the w6v2 going to sound that much better and hit that much harder than a w3v2? Is it worth the extra money?  Thanks for the help!!!

yes, i just switched from 2 10w3v2's powered by a zapco 500/1 in a sealed enclosure to 2 10w6v2's each powered by 1 zapco 500/1 and there is a major difference.  if you can, save up money and wait to get what you really want, (the 10w6v2's)

Go for a Planet Audio amp and use that extra money to go for the better speakers. Or wait.
