What wattage amp?

I have two 300watt infinity 6x9's. What amp wattage should I use. Thankyou in advance

Don't pay attention to the max wattage rating.  It means nothing. 

What is the RMS rating?

check the RMS @ 4 OHM rating this gives a better idea about how much power they can handle have your ampr somewhere around this power a bit higher is no problem  a weak amp is more likely to damage your speakers than a powerfull one.

I don't understand. How is a weak amp more likely to cause damage than a powerful one? If you exceed RMS you are pushing the speaker past it's thermal limit. What damage are you doing by not suppling RMS?
