I have the Viper 791XV and want to add another LED (VARDAD or some other brand) to the system. Does anyone know the install instructions and the parts I would need to make this. Do I need diode's and relays etc. Any help or detailed instructions on how to do this would be greatly appreciated.

using the verad leds you would have to follow their instructions. if your just adding another led, wire it in series with the one you have already installed.

you can add a varad scanner to a car even without an alarm system. There are three wires on the scanner , yellow, red, and black. To hook it up normally hook up yellow to 12v constant, red to ignition, and black to ground. If you need to work it off of your alarm put yellow to 12v constant, red to ignition, and ground to the orange(Ground When Armed) Output of the viper.
