It's your tach wire. Make sure that you set it for 6 or 4 cylinder mode whichever the vehicle is.

Hi Jeff,

Thanks for the info.  It is a 6 cylinder but like I mentioned there was a command start in there before so I would have thought the tach wire was set up but I will check into that.  It just seemed strange to me that as soon as I plug in that 9 pin harness the vehicle turns over on its own.(without even touching the remote.  I will definitley look into that tach wiring.  Thanks for your quick responses.

Thanks Wayne

Hey Wayne, even if there was a RS in there before, you still have to program the CS system to the new vehicle. The CS systems have to be manaully programmed for tach recognition in order for it to work properly. If the vehicles turns over when you plug in the harness, then you have a voltage leak in the CPU. Does it stay engaged or only for an instant does the starter engage ?

Hi Jeff,

As soon as I plug in the 9 pin module the vehicle turns over and does not stop turning over until I unplug the 9 pin module.  The vehicle does not start though.

Thanks Wayne
