Hello All,
I am installing a RSX 3.5 Alarm into a Honda CRV 1997. I have located the Lock & Unlock wires and have tested it with the ground. I have also connected the DEI Doorlock harness to the wires respectively. Unfortunately, it does not work. I have also tested the negative output from the alarm, and it does work as well. I am not sure what is the problem.
Could it be a defective brain?
I am quite puzzled myself and trying to look for another brain to test, but until then, I am still trying to figure it out.
Did anybody else encounter a similar problem with the doorlocks?

the factory alarm plug will be in the drivers kick panel, the green plug will be taped to another harness, get them from there\

lock is GREEN / WHITE and unlock is GREEN/ orange and they are negative pulse

those are the exact wires you have mentioned.
GREEN / WHITE & GREEN/ Orange.
I tested both of those wires with negative signal and it works.
I have also tested both the green and blue wires from the doorlock harness. It works as well. I don't know why the doorlocks do not work.
Everything else functions perfect except the doorlock.

sometimes you will need relays on these two wires to create a better ground

Power Lock GREEN / WHITE   -  driver door harness
Notes: Also found at the green factory alarm plug located in the drivers kick panel.
Must use relays to trigger the lock and unlock wires.
Power Unlock GREEN/ orange   -  driver door harness
Notes: Must use relays to trigger the lock and unlock wires.
Also found at the green factory alarm plug located in the drivers kick panel.

Looks like you do need relays to trigger the locks.  Wire up as follows 85 to lock output 86 to constant +12volts 87 to ground 30 to lock wire in vehicle.  do the same for unlock and you should be good to go.

you don't always need relays, but in this case it looks like you do

I did a 98 CRV about a month ago at work and I never used relays and it has worked perfectly fine
