I am currently attempting to install a Omnitronic PageGuard PG-8000S 2way car alarm into my Mazda. Features include remote start but am having difficulty in knowing which wires are going to where. If it is easier to help here are the wires in the 6pin starter harness.

1. RED. +12V DC Constant Power INPUT

2. YELLOW. MOTOR STARTER (+) 30A Output

3. GREEN. IGNITION1(+) (30A) Output

4. BLUE. ACC. (+) (30A) Output

5. BLACK. GROUND INPUT

6. WHITE. IGNITION 2(+) (30A) Output

I guess what I'm trying to say, which I think I forgot to mention in last post sorry, is that I'd like to know if at all possible exactly where these wires are going to go. thanks again

i have purchased a relay and pin switch to assist with my remote trunk relaease. On my alarm there is 'Trunk Input' (-) wire, does this connect to the pin switch? tehre is also a 'Trunk Open Output (-)500mA', how does this wire connect to the relay and then to my solenoid that releases my trunk? any help is appreciated.

does that car have fuel injection?

HI dood the trunk input (-) wire is for a pin switch so when your boot is opened it alerts you that its the boot the trunk ouput wire gose to a relay the reley is just an electronic switch use the trunk output (-) wire to the ralays coil the other coil wire then gose to pos+ the relay should click when you disarm the alarm and keep your finger on the button for 2 seconds and the other poles on the relay are the switch and by now you have probobly got a good idea what to do with them I dont want to advice on this as im not sure on mazda wiring P.S always use a tester first before connecting any wire like the input wire I.E if you have a light in the boot dont just prosume its neg- as some cars (fords) are pos- this catches a lot of peaple out and im sorry I cant help you with the engine wiring this is totaly out of my feild

Well, I'm sure you can find ground.

The rest of those wires are all found coming from the car's keyswitch.

Does the unit come with a manual to instruct you as to what the difference between constant, ignition, accessory, and starter wires are?

Do you have a test light and/or multimeter to test the car's wires?

Also, do you have to step on or pump the gas to start the car? Or will it start up on its own, even when cold, by just turning the key?
