You will need 4-5 relay in order to make this work as well as using a bypass module so you don't have to have the key in the ignition. Are you going to be doing the installation or is it going to be done by a professional ? I ask because this is a new vehicle and I'd hate to see this give you problems in the future at your Toyota dealership when you bring it in for an oil change or repair and they hop in and see that you don't need a key to run the vehicle. Also, there's the steering lock issue that you have to disable so you can turn the steering wheel without the key in the ignition.

I use to install back in the days so would do it myself.
Didn't think about the dealer giving my doodie but they just might hum! Still I am going to only cuz I've wanted to for the longest. Not good with relays so thats where the relay pros come in here? RSX 3.5 and smart window -- posted image.
As for the steering wheel, if you use a bypass module that does not need the key. Wouldn't that be the same as it was starting using the key?

haha let a cop drive by and see no key in the ignition, gives them probable cause to pull you over, so I wouldnt suggest you have any illegal $**T in their lol.

The steering lock is a mechanical lock not an electronic lock. You will need to disable the mechanical lock before you can attempt this installation.

How hard would this be to do on a 2004 cavalier. Would it be pretty simple if i used the 555l for a bypass.

smart windows 4 only works with the g4 or g5 series it is not compatiable with the matrix. use a 530t with the matrix. you need 1 530t per pair of windows   if you want the smartwindows 4 may i suggest the advantguard 5
