It keeps cutting out, completely losing power.   sometimes it goes out long enough to reset completely.    i know its probably a loose connection somewhere, but i was just wondering if anyone knew about problems with the ford stock radios.   this one has a cassete player.    thanks in advance.

When that kind of stuff starts happening...UPGRADE.  The time has come to install a system.
Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

thank you.   this is a work-owned van, so no replacing anything. maybe with another factory unit, but thats it.   i wouldnt want a nice radio anyway, it would get the van broken into.
