Need help with this one. I was told at circuit city that i would need TWO 530T's one for each window. I thought that the 530t was supposed to control two windows up and down?  Needless to say i had them install the one i had and it works great on my drivers side. Now i have the second one and was wanting to install it myself (they charge $120.00) but i need some wiring advice/help. Also were they correct in saying that i do in fact need two 530t's one for each window. I thank you all in advance for your help. BTW i have a Viper 791xv

Yep, one controls two windows up OR down, or one window up and down.

On the main page of this site, vechicle wiring diagrams are available :)

I had ONE 530T installed in my old 00' explorer sport and it controlled both drivers and passengers side windows up AND down but on this SC2 it will only control one window? I and wondering why and also some help with wiring this second one to my passengers side. I tried doing a search for my vehicle but i couldnt come up with anything?

You know what, you're right. I was confused for a second.. a 530T will control both windows up and down.

You just confused the 530 with the 529 is all. I searched the main page for the wiring diagram but they do not have my vehicle.

Thanks for that diagram. It seems to have everything except for the window wires. The alarm is already installed i only need to know how to wire the other 530T to my passengers side window. Thanks for that info though.

Don't waste your time wiring in another one. You need to only have (1) 530T in the car. I really wonder how the installer at CC hooked up the first one. He should have had 4 unused wires that could have been used for the passenger side.
This will probably match your car.
LF Window up/dn      dk blue up
                                  brown down
Type A      switch in center console
RF Window up/dn      lt blue up
                                 tan down
Type A      switch in center console
You need to look at how the original installer hooked up the 530T...finish the install, then take the extra 530T you have and return it or sell it.
