BTW, it's MB Quart, not "quartz."

I agree with the first advice given by stevdart: buy what you like the sound of.  Period.

You have to notice the sig line to get the joke.

Build the box so that it performs well in the worst case scenario and, in return, it will reward you at all times.

no focal is its own brand. mb quartz are very good as well i used to run a 3 way comp of the quartz 628.02 about 9 years ago and they still beat alot of the newer comp that r made today. like i said focal, quartz, or cdt. the words boston or alpine will never come out of your mouth once you hear any of those 3.
And for the same money as ANY of those I can build a three way system that'll WASTE anything you just listed. Adire woofers @ 370 pwc, Vifa mids @ 125 wpc and JL tweeters @ 125 wpc... In my doors right now. Off the shelf stuff CAN NOT (did I say CANNOT) compete with a properly designed and selected individual driver system.
So don't go there with me... 6.5 component suggestions - Page 2 - Last Post -- posted image.
It all reminds me of something that Molière once said to Guy de Maupassant at a café in Vienna: "That's nice. You should write it down."

First off, LOL at stevdart... Mock NOT the "Alpine FOCALS". You should know better.
Secondly, if it really matters, (and at the risk of giving away my secrets...) I use the green, slippery grease. BWAHAHAHA
