I will just dig into it again sometime. It's starting for now and locking/unlocking with the factory remote. Once I get a free evening I will get the multimeter out and check out what is actually going on.
Thanks again for the help. I will update once I find out what is happening.

Does the truck have the Factory Alarm system?

The different info between Bulldog Security and Ready Remote is that Bulldog is using the key cylinder signal that will also

handle the Factory Alarm system and Ready Remote is using the control button lock and unlock wires.  If the truck has the
Factory Alarm system, use the Light Green and Pink wires.  You will have to program the Viper for a Double Pulse Unlock
output.  Menu 1, Item 5, Option 2.   Here is some more info from DEI on the lock wire :

This wire is only needed if the door locks do not function with the aftermarket system

while the vehicle is running.  All other times just use the factory alarm arm wire.

Here is a photo of the connector :

With the older DEI units and their "push/pull" lock outputs, I would install an in-line 1N4001 diode with the band towards

the Viper on each lock output wire.  This diode will block the un-necessary (+) pulse from reaching the vehicle.  The Green
wire is Lock and the Blue wire is Unlock.

Soldering is fun!

Thanks for the detailed description and pic. I found the wires that are in the pic, but it still isn't working yet. When I touch the blue wire from the viper to the red wire, it locks the doors just from touching it, same with the white only unlocks. I don't even have to hit any buttons on the remote.
But once they are hooked into the red and white, it still doesn't work with the remote. Are the blue and green wire from the viper the only wires needed for the lock/unlock function to work?
Again, thanks so much for the help!

Did you try the light green and pink as described by Kreg?

I did, but to no avail. I haven't been able to mess with it today due to the weather, but I hope to work on it this weekend.
I'm not sure if I have to factory alarm or not. Never checked actually, but I will before I try hooking anything else up.

Maybe you could connect the lock and unlock wires (one at a time) to a relay to test their function. Maybe something got fried being hooked up wrong.

I've worked a bit more, and I'm almost there. I can get it to unlock by tapping into the white and red wires in the blue 17 pin plug. But, it only unlocks if I unlock the driver door manually or with the factory fob.   Acts as if I have a factory alarm but I'm almost certain I don't.
It won't lock at all no matter how it is wired. I have went through the menu and set it to send only a double pulse on unlock only which it does. I have diodes coming tomorrow as kreg357 suggested, so I will get on soldered into the wires from the viper.
So just to be certain, is the blue and green from the 3 pin viper plug the only wires that need hooked up to make the lock/unlock function? If not, then what other wires do I need to hook up?
I hooked everything up as shown in the dball2 diagram from xpresskits.com for my 2012 Tundra. I used the D2D as well.

Test for a Factory Alarm system by rolling down the drivers window, locking the truck with the inner door lock button

while the door is open, then close the door and wait 1 minute.  Check to see if there is a flashing red light on the
instrument cluster during this period.  If there is, it should slow down when the alarm sets.  Next reach in the open
window and open the door using the inner door handle.  If the horn starts beeping, you have an alarm system.

All you should need is the Vipers' Blue and Green lock wires connected to the correct lock and unlock wires in

the DKP ( no Factory Alarm ) or the Arm and Disarm wires ( with Factory Alarm ).  You can use the (-) Status Output
connected to Keysense to turn off the Factory Alarm during a remote start.

Soldering is fun!

I finally figured out the door locks. I had to wire the grn/blk and grn/white into the blue and green lock harness. Then wired those into the pink and light green in the kick panel.
I think I have a programming issue though as it unlocks to start, but then doesn't relock once started. So once I figure that out, I should be good to go I think.
I appreciate all of the help from you guys!
